Coast to Coast

Bubble Tea and Lady Bird and Oranges, Oh My!

I was born in San Francisco, California. Out of all the incredible and exciting cities I've been fortunate to explore, San Francisco is still my "happy place." From the incredible foods (especially Asian foods -- dim sum and bubble tea on every corner!) to the picture-perfect pastel Victorian houses, San Francisco is that one city that I can always come back to and call home.

When I was nine years old, I moved to Sacramento, about two hours from SF. I attended an all-girls Catholic college preparatory school, St. Francis High School -- which later became the basis for the Golden Globe Award-winning film, Lady Bird.

While my personality isn't quite as headstrong as the title character's, I resonated greatly with Lady Bird's yearning to leave Sacramento and embark on a new adventure in New York. After high school, I decided to attend college at Syracuse University, where I completed three majors in Public Relations, Political Science, and Italian.

Moving to the east coast to study at Syracuse University was one of the best decisions of my life. I made friends of a lifetime, traveled and explored both coasts as well as Europe, discovered my love for writing and learning, and took advantage of every opportunity to immerse myself in new experiences that would make me the confident, passionate person I am today.

After building up valuable experience in PR for an array of fields and industries, from state government to lifestyle public relations to film and television publicity, I've found a home in the hustle and bustle of New York City, developing my skills and exploring my lifelong passions: making authentic connections with others through writing and public speaking.
